2 year-old funded places


We are able to offer free government funded sessions for 2year-olds in our ‘Nursery Twos Room’.


What you need to know about 2 year-old places

You will be eligible for a place for your child if:-

  • Your family is eligible for free school meals
  • Your family receives Working Tax Credits and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190 or the family receives Universal Credit
  • Your child is looked after by the local authority- through an adoption order, or special guardianship
  • Your child has a high level of SEN (Special Educational Needs)

If you think you are eligble for a free place for your 2 year-old, bring your child's Red Book and birth certificate along with your National Insurance Number, into school, where we will checkyour eligility. If you have a TC602 or NASS Number, it must be take to a local Children's Centre for an eligibility check. Once eligibility is confirmed, your child will be put onto our waiting list, or offered a place if one is available.

Children can take up a place in the term after their 2nd birthday.

i.e. If their 2nd birthday is between 1st September -31st December  they become eligible for a place from the 1st January after their 2nd birthday.

At Grosvenor we have 12 morning places and 12 afternon places to offer, subject to availability, for 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.
